Comparing the Cost of ATT UVerse With the Cost of Skipping Cable Altogether

If you live in an area that currently offers ATT UVerse, then it’s worth taking the time to see if this package deal is a better one than your current cable deal. However, what about those folks who don’t use cable at all? More and more people choose to skip cable because they’re now able to get virtually unlimited movies on Netflix and because they can stream shows the day after on Hulu. But is this really a cost-effective option? Can users really save money by skipping cable altogether or are they paying more than they would for cable?
Of course, the answer is different for everyone. In some areas, getting a package deal brings the cost of cable down so much that it’s obviously the least expensive option. In other areas, a person might choose Verizon internet service and find that cable is quite a bit more. However, before you decide to skip it, take a look at how much those streaming services are really costing you. Of course the monthly fees are something to consider, but all think about the cost of getting your TV set up to stream. Did you have to purchase a box like Roku? These costs can add up and make streaming more expensive than getting cable.
