Here’s a Different Kind of Birdfeeder to Think about

I read that the earliest pedestal bird baths are from along the North coast of the Mediterranean and it shows you that for years we’ve attempted to entice birds into our yards.  Even the most beautifully designed garden or deck can be fine tuned with an artfully located birdhouse feeder. Many patios have actually been designed to accommodate bird feeders and houses.  In the USA wild bird feeding doesn’t have much history.  It was first reported during the in the 1930’s when concerned nature lovers started feeding game birds. The practice – it seems – consistently caught on. Today, creating backyard bird baths and distributing bird feeders is serious business. You can see them manufactured from lot’s of different materials. Other than feeders for hummingbirds, you can find feeders made from various plastics, metals and woods, but try to find wild bird feeders more creatively made than this Two Story Birdhouse Birdfeeder. Easy Ways to Offset Global Warming

There are many simple actions we as individuals can take to help offset the effects of global warming. In easy non expensive ways, together we can reduce the amount of carbon and greenhouse gases emissions. It is all about personal responsibility and ensuring a bright tomorrow for future generations on our planet.

  • Driving less is one sure way to help. Trouble-free maintenance on your vehicle such as making sure the tires are in good shape and fully inflated cuts out the need for constant gassing up.
  • When buying appliances for the home, look products that have the ‘Energy Star” label. When doing dishes, only run the dishwasher with a full load.
  • Switching to energy efficient fluorescent light bulbs and weather proofing your home are trouble free no hassle ways to fight global warming.

These are such little things we can do that will make an enormous difference when we all chip in to save the planet.
