I honestly think I could eat pizza every day. When I was younger I would grab a piece of leftover pizza from the fridge and eat it for breakfast, cold. It was delicious. Now I reheat the pizza a bit because I really like the cheese warm and melted. But I don’t buy pizza as much as I used to, we prefer to make our own pizzas instead. I usually buy the dough from the grocery store, and then add toppings like pizza sauce, pineapple, pepperoni, pepper, and other goodies. Our pan has been a bit difficult to use lately since the finish on it causes the dough to stick, so I’ve decided to buy a new pan, something like this Kaiser Bakeware La Forme Deep Dish Pizza Pan.

I like this pan because I can make regular pies or deep dish pies in this nonstick springform pizza pan. This sturdy pan is built to last, being made of a heavy-weight steel that’s much thicker than other bakeware brands. The double layer nonstick interior will insure a pie that releases easily from the pan and a job that will be easy to clean up. Plus the fact it’s a springform pan makes it even better.

Snowy days, ice skating, building snowmen, and racing down a hill on a sled are all the perfect set up for steamy Rich Hot Cocoa in giant mugs. It gets dark awfully early in the winter which could make kids kind of cranky having to stop playing outside and come in the house. What I like to do is have the cocoa all set on top of the stove, call the kids in, and the aroma makes coming in early all better. Then, after they shed their boots, hats, and mittens, they sit down and warm their little hands, and bellies, with their own favorite mug filled with cocoa and topped with a few marshmallows for good measure.

I know you can buy pre-packaged hot chocolate mixes, but the old fashioned recipes are always the best. It’s not just because they are inexpensive beverage recipes, but because they taste better. When you use whole foods like real milk and cocoa, you just end up with a richer, tastier drink. It’s thicker, creamier, and more chocolaty… so what more could you want? If you’re going to treat your family, or yourself, to a hot cup of cocoa, make it worth the effort!

I really love to cook – I simply enjoy trying different recipes and making a variety of dishes. Though when it comes to preparing my dishes, there is one aspect that I don’t enjoy as much and that is chopping up the ingredients. I wish I could cut up the celery and carrots and other great veggies like the chefs do on television – you know, how they chop everything so quickly and neatly. But that’s not how it looks when I’m on the job. My chopping is a little bit sloppier and a whole lot slower. That is why I absolutely love the Ergo Food Chopper from Black & Decker because it makes the whole job so much easier.

This great gadget is really handy and gives me 2 speeds to chop or mince onions and more in just seconds. It’s even ergonomically designed and it has a 3 cup bowl big enough for chopping herbs, onions, eggs, cheese, nuts, and more. And if I want to store the foodies in the bowl I can because the non-slip base doubles as a storage lid too. Now my food preparations go so much faster and smoother with this durable food processor. I just wish I had bought it along time ago!

We really like this crockpot recipe, not only for the way the meat turns out, all juicy and good, but the aroma is wonderful! If you put the chicken in the crockpot to cook while you’re away from home, you’ll open the door to a spicy and warm aroma filling your whole house. Your family’s appetite will shoot right through the roof. I have to get everything else ready and waiting to cook so dinnertime isn’t postponed any longer than it has to be. If I don’t, my family will start in on the chicken before it’s served.
