The Perfect Nonstick Pizza Pan

I honestly think I could eat pizza every day. When I was younger I would grab a piece of leftover pizza from the fridge and eat it for breakfast, cold. It was delicious. Now I reheat the pizza a bit because I really like the cheese warm and melted. But I don’t buy pizza as much as I used to, we prefer to make our own pizzas instead. I usually buy the dough from the grocery store, and then add toppings like pizza sauce, pineapple, pepperoni, pepper, and other goodies. Our pan has been a bit difficult to use lately since the finish on it causes the dough to stick, so I’ve decided to buy a new pan, something like this Kaiser Bakeware La Forme Deep Dish Pizza Pan. Old Fashioned Hot Cocoa Is The Only Way To Really Warm ‘Em Up

But that’s not how it looks when I’m on the job. My chopping is a little bit sloppier and a whole lot slower. That is why I absolutely love the Ergo Food Chopper from Black & Decker because it makes the whole job so much easier. (more…)

Chicken Pretty Enough For Special Occasions

There are many ways to cook and serve whole chickens, but not many prettier, or more juicy and delicious, than a crockpot herbed chicken.  There are times in my family where chicken pieces just won’t do.  Chicken pieces are normally what we use in our recipes, except when we want to sit down at the table, tablecloth and napkins style, with a beautiful platter of chicken.  Serving a whole chicken just looks so much more festive, and that is why we use this recipe so often for special occasions.
